Why can't I see any color flowing when I select start?
Your foreground color may match the background color. If so, color is being generated. It simply blends into the background. Goto Color Settings and change the foreground or background color.
Why isn't the entire display filled with color?
Your path size setting is not maximized. Go to Color Direction settings and slide the Path Size slider all the way over to the right side of the control.
Is Help available?
Yes. Tap the Informational icon at the top right-hand corner of the screen. This icon is displayed for all settings screens.
Why are controls disabled sometimes?
This is due to various dependency rules that are enforced by ColorFlow. Some settings cause other controls to be disabled, usually because they don't make sense when a certain setting has been chosen.
Why does the ColorBar on the main screen not work sometimes?
You have selected Alter Color Over Time. Goto Color Settings and switch this option to OFF.
Can I reduce the amount of color that fills the screen?
Yes. Goto Color Flow Settings and adjust the Flow Rate slider towards the left side. This will slow down the amount of color that is generated over time. A slower rate results in sparse color on the screen. A faster rate results in dense color on the screen.
Can I create backgrounds more interesting than solid colors?
Yes. I stumbled across this feature when I took an extreme closeup picture of my thumb by accident one day. I decided to use it as a background as it appeared as blurry tones of orange and red. Check out the second image from the right on the bottom row under Samples. The background is in fact my thumb. I suspect that closeups of various surfaces, both in and out of focus, will work well with ColorFlow image creation.
Why are some of my saved images completely black?
You are tapping the Save button when you are displaying color as a Flow type. Only a Fill type image can be saved. Check your Color Flow settings. The saved image is black because your background is black.
